Lee Anne White Photography @ Ballast Pointe
Ballast Pointe Trading Company, Kingsland, Georgia is proud to be selected by Lee Anne White as the exclusive south Georgia designer to offer a selection of her iconic natural photographs. Renowned for her unique compositions and exquisite artistic talent, her black and white creations remind one of the works of celebrated photographer Ansel Adams. And her color photographs are truly mesmerizing!
As she describes herself:
As a fine art photographer, my work is rooted in the landscape and explores an emotional connection to place. I am drawn by a sense of mystery and try to reveal both the unexpected and overlooked in nature’s details. I have a particular interest in the cultural landscape--the ways in which the land has shaped people and people have shaped the land--and historic preservation. I create archival prints which are available through interior designers, art consultants, galleries and directly. And I teach week-long landscape and botanical photography workshops in places like Coastal Maine, the Apostle Islands, Santa Fe and Amelia and the Southern Sea Islands.
According to her website, leeannewhite.com, Lee Anne previously served as editor-in-chief of Fine Gardening magazine and consulting editor for Taunton Books. She is the author and principal photographer of numerous books on landscape architecture and garden design. She has photographed more than 70 magazine features for publications such as Garden Design, Better Homes and Gardens, Sunset and Landscape Architecture. A graduate of Brenau University, she hold a Masters of Science degree in Creative Studies from State University of New York/Buffalo State, and currently resides in Gainesville, Georgia.
Ballast Pointe is thrilled to highlight and offer for your personal fine art collection framed prints by this accomplished “local” artist.
